LC-Tec’s most advanced single-cell optical shutter based on the nematic LC technology exhibits fast switching and high contrast over a wide range of viewing angles and is highly suitable for the active 3D goggles application. The outer surface of the shutter has a hard-coat treatment in order to avoid potential scratches caused by rough handling.
The shutter lens can be offered in a non-rectangular, arbitrary shape thanks to our advanced glass-cutting and glass-grinding processes. The weight and thickness is kept to a minimum by processing thin mother glass.
