LC-Tec manufactures and supplies custom-designed information displays based on the nematic LCD technology on passive matrix at R&D, prototyping, and volume manufacturing levels. Custom sizes from 5 x 5mm up to maximum 14 x 16 inches are available.
LC-Tec specializes in manufacturing and supplying of high-end, direct-driven LCDs that are suitable for tough operational environments. The LCD may contain character icons, segments, graphic dot arrays, or any combination thereof.
Depending on the amount of displayed information, either the TN- or the STN-technology can be used. The viewing mode is controlled by the polarizer configuration used for the LCD and we can supply all possible modes: reflective, transflective, and transmissive. A wide choice of electrical contacting methods is available, including leadframes, flexfilm, and TAB connection.
